Where was I THREE years ago?!?!
I was in labor with an amazing little boy!!
My weekend went a little like this...
Friday, September 4, 2009: Carterville Football Game. I told everyone at the game I was having the baby that weekend.
Saturday, September 5, 2009: Bridal Shower at 10 a.m.--I let the other guests at the bridal shower feel my stomach as I was having contractions. After the bridal shower, I went to the hospital to visit my cousin's baby. I told the nurses I would be back later that night.
Sure enough, after about 3 more walks and 1 run/walk...about 10 p.m. that night we headed to the hospital! I was 5 cm dilated!!
Sunday, September 6, 2009 2:42 p.m. Timothy "Dylan" Barrington was born!!
Weighing in at 6 pounds 15 ounces. He was a perfect healthy boy!!
Mama pushed for about 3-4 minutes and laughed through the whole thing.
Can my next one please be that easy?!?!
When you first become a Mom you think "how could I ever love someone as much as I love my new baby." I never ever thought I would have enough room in my heart for any more love because I loved Drew that much. He was my obsession.
But, then along came Dylan. I squished tons of love for him in my heart!
It's truly is amazing how much you can love so many people at the same time!
( I say this quite often.)
And ya know what...I am feeling my heart has a little bit more room in there for another baby! :)
But for now, we are celebrating THREE years with this wonderful baby...
He has grown up to be a hoot.
I wish I could film this child daily to let everyone see how he is.
He is going to be my handful, adventurous child.
I'm going to have to keep my eye on him closely!
Drew and him are completely different.
Drew is an all star-rule follower-teacher's pet at school.
Dylan, well he starts on Friday, and I am thinking he is going to be complete opposite.
I am thinking he will be "on red" quite often.
But he wouldn't be Dylan if I didn't have all these stories to share about him!
